Go ahead and allow yourself a rest from training, instead ...walk a track, walk in the park, sit and meditate. Listen to yourself and you will know what to do.
OH! Good time to concentrate on the swim and bike. Your run fitness isn't going anywhere. Time off the run and concentrating on other things will be bring back the run mojo.
Looking forward to meeting you and Jeff down in Galveston!
Jeff are you playing those in the lotto this week? You'd be splitting it with way too many people! Annie- I think this weather will help. Maybe your running mojo is MIA, but the swimming and biking is up?
I always lose my running mojo after a marathon. It will come back, I promise. I find that if I concentrate on non-running (swim/bike) I don't lose fitness and when I do feel like running again, my mojo has returned!!

ReplyDeleteIf I see any mojo running around here, I'll let you know. Chances are that it went someplace with better weather than we have though.

ReplyDeletethe run fitness is there, it wont go away with the base you have...it is likely enjoying the break in the action you are giving it!
